Service area and features

Wireless service is available in almost all areas inside the Library and may be available in areas just outside of the building. Structural features such as columns and stairways might block or reduce the signal in certain areas inside the building.

In some branches, the wireless service does not support all Internet features. Web browsing is available, and web mail services can be checked using the service. E-mail sending and receiving using mail clients such as Eudora or Microsoft Outlook are not supported.

In other branches, we now offer full-service wi-fi that supports chat, e-mail, etc. As of September 29, 2008, the following libraries have "open" wi-fi:

• Rincon Valley
• Rohnert Park-Cotati
• Sebastopol
