Friends of the Windsor Library
The sole purpose of the Friends of the Windsor Library (FoWL) is support the Windsor Regional Library. The Friends sponsor programs; provide funding for materials, supplies and furnishings; and present art shows which are free to the public. The financial assistance the Friends provide is made possible by library patrons who donate to and purchase materials from the book cart in the library lobby. The book cart is open all library hours and is stocked by volunteers.

Call for Artists

The Friends of the Windsor Library is in search of local artists to participate in the spring 2013 show. The theme for the art show is The Poems of Emily Dickinson. For nearly 150 years, Emily Dickinson has been a source of inspiration for creative individuals in all aspects of the arts. For this show, we are looking for visual artists to shape her language into images. We hope that the content of the poems of Emily Dickinson inspire creativity. The show will be held in conjunction with the Sonoma County Big Read.
Entry is open to Sonoma County Artists of all ages; the deadline for submission of work is February 15, 2013. To enter, please send an email to Barb Parker at barbaraparker2002@yahoo.com ; please include your name, address and a telephone number. Attach a photo of the work you wish to submit along with a copy of the relevant Emily Dickinson poem.

Meeting times for the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Windsor Library are posted in the library lobby. The 2013 annual membership meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 27. The current directors are:
