Using the Library's web catalog to find new
titles, music, audiobooks, videos
To find new titles, award winners, and best sellers

First click the New & Noteworthy tab. You will see
three categories of lists:
- New at the Library - Recently received audiobooks,
movies, etc.
- Notables for Adults/Teens - New York Times best sellers, Booker awards,
Printz awards, etc.
- Notables for Kids - Caldecott, King, Newbery, and Belpré awards
Click on the list you want, and you will see all titles in that list. You
can then request any title by clicking the Request Item button. Connect
to the catalog and try it now
To find music, audiobooks, and videos
First click the Search the Catalog tab, then the Audio/Video option
under the row of tabs at the top.
If you're searching for a specific actor, director, singer, or song
title, type the name into the Word Search box for the
type of format you're seeking. Then click the GO button
or press Enter.
If you know the exact movie title, audiobook title, or CD title, type it
into the Title Begins With: box for the type of format you're
seeking. Then click the GO button or press Enter.
If you just want to browse through the alphabetic lists of all titles,
type 1 into the Title Begins With: box
for the type of format you're seeking. Then click the GO button or
press Enter. This will show the entire list, a page at a time.
To jump
to a different page, type any letter into the Title
Begins With: box, then click the GO button
or press Enter. For example, type m to
scan through the list starting from M*A*S*H, Macbeth, Madeline,
... Connect to the catalog
and try it now
